About this Position:
The Sr. Business Analyst will support the PS&P Sales Events and Programs by planning and organizing complex requests/projects to strategically meet business demands within budget and on time. The analyst will need to perform program analysis, market situation analysis, root-cause analysis, and forecasting to identify market trends. The individual will also oversee the creation, generation, and evaluation of the market situation analysis for Divisional Management, highlighting key items including competitive market situations and competitive program analysis. The Sr. Business Analyst will also recommend system improvements for business processes and perform system user acceptance testing on various platforms to ensure functionality and accuracy of on-going Sales Promotions projects. This position will work closely with other depts to oversee product pricing set-up, vendor relations and maintenance.
Position is Hybrid - 60% in office / 40% WFH.
Responsibilities include:
§ Generate and conduct market situation analysis (various level; Industry, Dealer, Customer) and create reports highlighting key items including competitive market situation. Reporting this to management monthly.
§ Lead and manage one or more projects (moderate to high in complexity) with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure project targets are met.
§ Lead, manage, and distribute the PS&P product pricing process – working with various depts across the division
§ Support the Sales Promotion function through program tracking, report generation, data entry and system maintenance
§ Develop and manage all Sales promotional Monthly Getsuji and Seihan materials/Slide
§ Work with all vendors -Relations and Maintenance (Bi Worldwide/Eagle Rider/CDK/Citi Bank)
§ Identify and recommend new programs and processes to enhance and improve existing methodologies. Perform system user acceptance testing on various platforms to ensure functionality and accuracy of on-going projects.
Who we are seeking:
Required Work Experience:
§ 5 – 7 years of related experience
§ 3 – 5 years powersports & product experience
§ 1 – 3 years with job related excel experience
§ 3 – 5 years data management experience
§ PS&P background – preferred or, dealership or DSM experience
§ Required experience with budgeting, financial analysis, business planning and performance benchmarking
Required Education:
BA/BS Degree or equivalent work experience
Desired skills:
§ Ability to process information that may be complex and summarize it accurately in reports
§ Ability to handle multiple tasks
§ Leadership skills required to capture and prioritize competing initiatives, ensuring achievement of dates and deliverables
§ In-depth knowledge of powersports products and markets
§ Proficiency in sap/business objects and/or MS SQL (desired)
§ Ability to market sense and report key findings
§ Strong analytical and strategic thinking ability
