Installation Sales & Design Consultant
Basic salary from £20,500-£22,000 DOE, plus commission with a realistic OTE of 40K

The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Consultant to sell bathroom installation projects remotely. The successful candidate will be responsible for building relationships with customers, negotiating and agreeing sales. This is a remote homebased role, connecting with customers over the phone, email, or video calls, and successful candidates will need to be highly organised and self-motivated to succeed.
Role & Responsibilities
- Build quality relationships with customers ensuring Victoriaplum.com is their go to
brand for product and installations.
- Prepare product and installation estimates in line with customer requirements.
- Present accurately priced designs in a professional manner using video calls and
ensuring enquiries are turned into sales.
- Completing quality briefs with potential customers.
- Follow up on customer enquiries that have yet to convert to a sale.
- Ensure smooth handover to the Project Coordinator.
- Improve customers’ experience by ensuring that all inbound calls are handled within
agreed timescales whilst offering best in class customer engagement.
- Achieve all relevant sales targets and customer service levels.
- Follow and implement all Victoria Plum procedures, legislative and regulatory rules.
We are looking for someone with……
- Knowledge of home improvement industry.
- Track record of delivering high levels of achievement.
- GCSE Mathematics and English or equivalent
- Strong customer service ethic with a passion for continuously improving the levels of service provided
- A strong attention to detail, with the ability to work quickly and accurately.
- Strong diary and time management.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to deal with people at all levels.
- Excellent organisational skills and a willingness to take ownership and accountability of work.
- Resilience & patience to deal with difficult situations.
- Ability to work from home successfully whilst being part of a wider team.
- Strong work ethic with the desire to be successful.
Desirable skills....
- Experience of managing and nurturing relationships with potential customers
- Experience of home improvement design and installation sales
- Experience of working within a Sales team in fast paced multi-channel retail environment.
- Good business acumen and commercial awareness with knowledge of Victoria Plum’s retail sector.
- Forward thinking and ability to identify when a process change may be needed.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
Please note: The successful candidate on their first day will need to attend our Head Office located in Doncaster for an induction, equipment collection and identification checks.
