We are expanding the QS team to form a significant part of this successful office. If you would like to take your leadership capabilities onto the next level this opportunity may be of interest.
You will be involved in a wide range of projects in both the public and private sectors with a wide range of clients including F1 Teams, residential, logistic, workplace, healthcare and retail developers. UK government, higher education and NHS services. Ridge are also currently delivering the UK’s premier Gigaplant £1.2Bn for British Volt in Cambois, Northumberland.

Role and Responsibilities
- Leadership of the QS team and wider office
- Hands on delivery/Management of quantity surveying services from Leeds
- Client management and development of the Leeds QS team Business plan.
- Lead client facing meetings, multi-disciplined teams and project delivery.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, always maintaining the highest standards of professional competence.
- Support and manage junior team members to deliver effective cost management services.
- Contribute to winning new work and/or repeat business
- Manage large scale and/or multiple projects with key clients
Experience and Skills Required
- Degree qualification (RICS accredited or equivalent) MRICS Chartered
- Experience of high value and complex projects gained in a consultancy environment.
- First class communicator, capable of establishing and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Commercially aware with excellent negotiation and organisational skills.
- Excellent all-round technical quantity surveying knowledge
- An analytical mind with a high level of intellect - combining excellent written and oral skills to produce considered and robust reports and recommendations.
- Extensive quantity surveying experience
