What you’ll do

As a member of the Management System Data Analytics team, you will apply your analytical skills to enable world class risk management through development and delivery of safety and security insights, metrics, and visualizations.

You will own & deliver the analytics outputs for safety and security performance review meetings, developing a deep understanding of the role of our department within the organization. You will support development of specialist projects, tasks, and other duties, including safety and security Continuous Improvement oversight programme.

In this exciting and challenging role, you’ll gather information to analyse business problems and identify solutions and opportunities for change and improvement. As a part of your role, you will also lead the development of insight tools and methods, this will help inform, educate and train all colleagues on key safety and security issues.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Support the Management System’s performance monitoring and measurement, Tableau development and insight/intelligence delivery capabilities to enable world class risk management and data-driven decision making.
  • Supports numerous oversight programmes, including the Continuous Improvement oversight programme; ensuring the Management System’s risk management actions and activities are periodically sampled for effectiveness.
  • Supports the development and delivery of safety and security studies, reviews and surveys; undertaking independent deep dives to provide insight into risks, concerns and emerging areas.
  • Leads the development and delivery of insight tools, analytics and methods to inform, educate and engage all colleagues on key safety and security issues.
  • Supports BA’s contribution to industry data and analytics programmes, including EASA Data4Safety (D4S) and IATA Incident Data Exchange (IDX).

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for a collaborative problem solver with an eagerness to learn to support the Safety & Security department.

You’ll have strong analytical skills gained in a similar role. To be successful you’ll need to be a self-motivated and curious innovative thinker. The role requires skills in interrogating and interpreting complex and large data, and you’ll also need the ability to evaluate outputs and communicate them with our key stakeholders.
