Job description
Thank you for your interest in the post of Head of Health, Safety and Security with Historic Environment Scotland (HES). This is a permanent and pensionable appointment.
As Head of Health, Safety and Security, you will be responsible for leading the Health, Safety and Security teams HES. Leading from the front, you will shape, influence and instil a health, safety and security culture across HES, and through your team will provide advice and support to over 1,500 colleagues across a variety of directorates and teams.
Motivated by an appetite for continual improvement, service excellence and attention to detail, this role will continually develop and improve the management of health, safety and physical security across HES, by providing visible leadership and direction, collaborating with colleagues externally and across all areas of our business to develop and implement a culture which makes health, safety, fire and physical security a top priority for all employees.
