We are currently recruiting for additional Event Safety Stewards who hold an SIA Door Supervisor license to join our events team on a CASUAL basis across Greater Manchester and the North West.
Primary Purpose of Job Role
Reporting to the Event Operations Manager, Team Leader or Lead Officer you will be working as part of a dynamic team to ensure the safety and comfort of all visitors attending the event at which you are on duty.
Maintaining a high level of customer service, professionalism and ensuring that ExcluSec Professional Standards are maintained at all times.
This is a casual and / or part time role. Therefore, flexibility is essential as many events may take place in the evenings or at weekends outside of normal working hours. You may be required to travel to different venues depending on where the event is taking place.

The Role
- To carry out various roles including Event Security, Stewarding, Traffic Marshalling and Taxi Marshalling
- To protect and secure people, property and assets
- To provide a visual security presence at venues and events
- To ensure that access/egress into venues and events is controlled
- To deliver and provide excellent customer service to internal/external customer at all times
- To assist with emergency evacuation procedures as/when required
- To manage crowds and queues effectively
- To follow company and event specific policies, procedures and instructions at all times
- To ensure security logs and incident reports are completed as/when required
- Be willing to work days, nights, evenings and weekends as per the needs of the business
- To represent the 'ExcluSec' brand and promote a positive image at all times
- To undertake company, role and event specific training as/when required
- To adhere to company professional standards at all times whilst on duty.
- Any other duties commensurate with the role.
- Hold a current valid SIA licence (minimum Door Supervision) is essential
- An NVQ Level 2 or above in Spectator Safety (or similar) is preferred
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle is preferred
- Flexible and willing/available to work at short notice (days, nights, evening and weekends) is essential.
- Flexible and professional approach to work is essential.
- Experience in a similar role would be advantageous
- Excellent communication and customer service skills is essential.
- Excellent command of English, both written and verbal is essential.
- Confidence and ability to deal with difficult situations (including those involving conflict) is essential.
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team is essential.
- Due to the nature of the role, weekend working is essential
- Taking pride in your appearance as well as representing the ExcluSec brand at all times is essential.
- Eligible to work in the UK is essential.
- Have a 5 year verifiable work history is essential.
- IT literate is preferred.
