Welsh Gymnastics invites applications for a new position of Safe Sport Director.
The Role
The welfare of children is paramount. No ifs, no buts, its paramount.
This is a new, key role within Welsh Gymnastics. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, the post holder will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team, responsible for leading on all aspects of safe sport, across the organisation. The Safe Sport Director will also work across Wales in every aspect of gymnastics activity, which will include working with clubs, leisure centres, parents, coaches, performance programmes and educators.
The post holder will provide advanced skills, competencies, and strategic direction, to drive forward our Safe Sport Plan. In doing so, it will ensure that everyone, particularly children, have a positive, healthy, safe experience of gymnastics. We are committed to ensuring the gymnast is at the heart of everything we do.
The package
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 p.a. depending on experience
Pension: Contributary pension scheme
Annual Leave: 33 days (inc. bank holidays)
Type of Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Location: Cardiff & Home Working
