The Role:
Safe In Faith is creating a network of professionals such as counsellors and psychotherapists, who come from a Faith background and want to develop their skills to offer counselling that can reflect a survivor’s spiritual beliefs. Alongside this is a programme of training for clergy and religious sisters within the Catholic Church.
Your role would be to provide the administration required to assist in running the Safe in Faith Project, working with domestic abuse and gender based violence in faith settings.
Principle duties and responsibilities:
- Provide administration required to run Safe in Faith
- Manage email boxes, respond and send emails
- Keep website up to date
- Manage Safe in Faith events calendar
- Set up and manage Eventbrite for trainings and webinars
- Attend online training events and manage zoom calendar
- Administrate clergy and professional online networks
- Facilitate network joining process
You will have experience of the following:
- Strong ICT literacy, in particular knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong administrative skills and experience
- Understanding and desire to work in faith settings
- An understanding of the issues around domestic abuse and gender based violence
- Knowledge of counselling and psychotherapy

Location: Remote
Hours of work: 7 hours per week (to be agreed) (£25k pro rata per annum)
Salary: £13.74 per hour
