REKOM UK are looking for Runners to help with the smooth running of Fiction, Hanley.
Fiction is the biggest nightclub in the heart of Hanley which was originally the Theatre Royal. It provides memorable nights out for thousands of clubbers each and every year. This destination venue can also offer the ultimate VIP experience with luxurious booths and table service with premium labelled products. What can you do for us?
To assist the management team by ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the operation whilst maintaining brand standards and values. To provide excellent guest service and help to increase sales revenue by providing a friendly, informative welcome to all guests. Our bar staff are at the heart of our operation so the post holder must be able to work well under pressure and maintain the highest level of standards at all times.
The right candidate will be self-motivated, a good communicator, well presented, professional, with excellent operational standards and attention to detail, and should lead by example.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:
· working as a member of the Runners team in a designated floor area, including a designated toilet area, and providing help and assistance where required;
· collecting unused bottles and glasses;
· ensuring tables are clean at all times with clean menus;
· ensuring bins are emptied as and when necessary ensuring recycling policy is adhered to;
· ensuring bars always have enough stock, making sure more stock is brought to the bar before anything runs out;
· successfully resolving guest complaints wherever possible referring unresolved complaints to your supervisor and to the management team;
· ensuring that your designated toilet area is checked periodically throughout the session and logged as required;
· ensuring cellar areas are left clean and tidy at all times;
· ensuring no floor area is left unattended;
· ensuring that all areas are dry and clear of spillages or broken glass;
· making sure public and staff areas are kept clean;
· maintain floor areas in line with operating standards;
· ensuring good housekeeping standards are applied and deliver a safe environment through maintenance of the venue;
completing all company Polaris training, including refresher courses, as and when required to do so.
All applicants must be well presented, professional, a good communicator with excellent overall operational standards. Candidates must be 18+ as the role includes serving alcohol, and eligible to work in the UK.
This is a part time permanent role that will see you working shift patterns that include evenings and weekends, so you must be flexible in terms of the hours required of you. This is by no means a 9 to 5 role and all applicants should take this into consideration. Our team love what they do! We have a passion for providing an experience second to none.
