As a rotational Band 6 you will rotate into all key areas - T&O, Respiratory, Medical Rehabilitation, Neuro/Stroke and MSK. Rotations may be either at Tunbridge Wells or Maidstone Hospital. You will have experience of working as part of an MDT and ensuring the clinical development of yourself and others and will demonstrate the ability to case manage through an understanding of the full patient pathway. You will be supported by experienced senior staff and will have the opportunity to develop both clinically and managerially, leading a team and or working with junior staff and students, depending on your level of experience. We offer a friendly and supportive working environment which actively supports Continuing Professional Development, through an established appraisal system, in-service training, and post graduate library facilities. You will be required to travel between the sites of Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells. You will be part of the Respiratory On-call service. On some rotations you will be part of a 7 day service.

The Trust provides a full range of general hospital services and some areas of specialist complex care to around 500,000 people living in the south part of West Kent and the north part of East Sussex.
The Trust’s core catchment areas are Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells and their surrounding boroughs. We work from two main clinical sites: Maidstone Hospital and Tunbridge Wells Hospital at Pembury. Tunbridge Wells Hospital opened in 2011 and provides single rooms with en-suites for all in-patients – the first of its kind in the country.
We employ over 6,500 full and part-time staff in a huge range of clinical and non-clinical roles across both of our hospital sites.
