The aim of the role:
As a member of the restaurant team at Chewton Glen, you are the reason that our Guests keep coming back for more. Our Room Service Assistants work part of a team to assist our Guests and create unforgettable experiences for them, exceeding expectations from breakfast right through to dinner, to ensure that every guest wants to return.

Room Servive Assistant Responsibilities:
- Take calls from guests and process their Room Service order, through to serving the food inside their room, ensuring a unique 5 star experience.
- Constantly seek out opportunities to go above and beyond for our guests and give them the attention that they deserve. Make it your mission to ensure that every guest leaves happy.
- Have expert knowledge of the food and wine that we offer and create opportunities to keep yourself up to date with our latest seasonal menu's to drive sales.
- Confidently deliver the key restaurant processes and standards, including our service steps, and demonstrate these consistently, never cutting corners.
- Work well as part of a team, treating others like family and proactively seek out ways to lend a hand.
- Have an eye for detail and very high standards when it comes to our service, hygiene, safety and cleanliness standards.
- Show respect to those in authority and embrace and act on feedback positively, seeing it as an opportunity to learn.
- Maintain our standards at all times, keeping our Room Service and adjoining areas clean and tidy at all times.
- Have excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills.
