Job description
Set in the heart of Birmingham's retail and commerce district, Macdonald Burlington Hotel is one of Birmingham's leading hotels with 112 bedrooms and 16 meeting and event suites. We are located less than a minute from New Street and tram lines.
As our Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering an outstanding experience to all our guests.
We see you as a real ambassador of our company, operating on the front line with an organised, proactive approach and a meticulous eye for detail. You enjoy being part of a busy team but also have the drive to work on your own initiative, always keen to deliver the highest standards and exceed our guests’ expectations.
As a member of the larger team, you will have the opportunity to learn about the broader operations of the hotel, as well as making friendships and building a network of colleagues. This is a great place to start if you are interested in the world of hospitality!
Experience in a similar role would be helpful, but we will also offer training if you are willing to learn, take pride in your work and are committed to delivering our high standards. Providing our guests with a memorable stay every time is the ambition for our Room Attendants so if you’d like to play a key role in this, we’d love to hear from you.
