We have an exciting opportunity, for the right person, to join our Pensions Service Centre team to grow their careers and be involved in the biggest change to UK pensions for many years.
About the role
As a Finance Administrator, you will be joining an enthusiastic and talented team who, on behalf of the Pension Plan Trustees, will help to manage the finances of our Royal Mail Pension Plan. You’ll deliver services to the standards that we have agreed with our client and have the opportunity to broaden your skills and knowledge by working flexibly across our wider team.
You will also:
- Play a full part in all aspects of delivering the service, from balance sheet reconciliations and processing domestic and international payments, through to membership and contributions analysis, reporting to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Have the opportunity to support the delivery of major scheme events and have the freedom to develop and deliver improvements to the services that we provide, in line with our Continuous Improvement and PASA Gold Standard frameworks.
- Own your own development and have the freedom to plan your own workload to meet our service standards.
This is a Hybrid Working Role with travel to HR Services- Sheffield when required. We like to come together regularly in our Sheffield office for personal, professional & team development.
About You
If you are an experienced Finance Administrator, with a professional finance qualification or a desire to study towards one, this could be the job for you.
- We’re looking for brilliant and flexible team players who have experience of delivering an accounting service, with a professional finance qualification (at least AAT Level 2 and ideally working towards Level 3)
- You have at least 2 years’ Accounting experience, covering payment processing, reconciliations, and general ledgers, along with experience of internet banking systems.
