Overview
CeX was founded in London in 1992. We have stores in UK, Spain, Ireland, India, Australia, Portugal, Netherlands, Mexico, Italy and Poland.
We buy, sell and exchange a range of technology and entertainment products including mobile phones, video games, DVDs and Blu-ray movies, computers, digital electronics, TVs and monitors, and music CDs.
You'll be working for a franchise within the company (JSC Trading Ltd), reporting directly to the RMA coordinator and Area Manager.
Overview of Role
The RMA department focuses on minimalizing stock loss and getting returned merchandise either repaired or disposed of properly. As a technician, you'll be helping the coordinator repair priority stock, either by using your own skills or sending the items out to external suppliers to be returned to us so they can be put back on sale.
The role will include stocking in items from different stores using our own internal software tools and identifying potential faults with stock. Because of this, the candidate will need to have some experience in handling technology, as most of the RMA stock will be phones, tablets, consoles etc.
The RMA department for this company has only recently started up so not only will there be high expectations and accountability, but the chance to be part of something from the beginning! Summary of Responsibilities
- Receiving returned stock using internal software systems
- Repairing or overseeing the repair of priority stock
- Sourcing replacement parts
- Regular stock counts
- Reporting to the coordinator/AM and communicating with other stores
- Finding new suppliers/sources to help the department
Qualifications/Experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under time constraints
- Flexibility to work outside of designated work days
- Detail orientated
- Microsoft/EPOS systems (preferred)
- RMA experience (preferred)
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: £5.00-£15.00 per hour
