Elective Orthopaedics, Woodend Hospital
Band 3, Healthcare Support Worker. Various hours available.
We are looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team. You should have previous care experience either in an acute hospital setting or within the care sector.
The orthopaedic service works across both Woodend Hospital and Aberdeen Royal Infirmary but this post is predominantly based in the elective care service which covers Ward 9, Ward 10 and the Orthopaedic short stay unit.
This is an extremely busy and physically demanding post and requires someone who is able to cope with these demands. The ideal candidate would be able to work well within a team and has a calm and friendly nature. You need to be a team worker, reliable and flexible to the requirements of the service. This post includes being able to work unsocial hours ie, night duty and weekends and a 12 hour shift pattern.
