Job description
Location: Luton
The role is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of effective and efficient safety risk and business resilience capabilities at easyJet, a major airline company. This includes designing and implementing the safety risk (including safety risk management, investigation, operational readiness, and human factors) and business resilience (including crisis management, business continuity, and emergency response) elements of the company's Integrated Management System.
The Manager is also responsible for ensuring that safety risk and business resilience concerns are escalated through the appropriate channels, and for deputizing for the Head of Safety as needed.
Additionally, the Manager is responsible for overseeing the Safety Risk and Business Resilience teams and for continuously improving the organization's business resilience framework and associated plans. This includes identifying strategies and tactics to enhance resilience and appropriate risk mitigation measures and response structures, as well as ensuring appropriate governance and assurance processes are in place.

This full-time role will be based in Hangar 89, Luton Airport, and will be 40 hours per week. Some overseas travel will be required.
