Location: We are looking for someone to cover the south of England alongside regular visits to our Farnborough and London offices.

The opportunity:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to support the continued growth and development of our Zurich Municipal Sales Team in the Public Services Team. In this dynamic role we’ll expect you to meet financial targets for both commercial insurance and fee-based risk management services, working closely with our customers to understand their specific needs.
You’ll therefore be someone who puts customers’ needs first – someone who has natural rapport and empathy and who can build the strong relationships at all levels necessary for success. This role therefore requires a wide variety of skills and is for someone who relishes a challenge and likes to be given the freedom and responsibility to go out there and make it happen.

What will you be doing?
- Responsible for a portfolio of Public Sector customers
- Building direct relationships with a variety of stakeholders
- Planning, negotiating, and presenting renewal terms when under long term agreement
- Preparing for tenders and writing the bids when exposed to market
- Liaising internally between Underwriting, Claims and Risk functions
- Managing external relationships with brokers and partner organisations
- Attending sector related national events
- Working as part of a regional team
