Ty Cariad Nursing home is located close to the historic market town of Abergele. Ty Cariad accommodates a homely, friendly environment for our residents to relax in a home from home environment, whilst the staff team excel in their career opportunities whilst supporting residents to participate in their own personal achievements. The home comprises of four personalised homes that interact and engage togetherness whilst promoting a relaxed, homely feel. The home has tranquil scenery of the sea waters that can be enjoyed whilst spending time in the sensory garden. The home is situated in the beautiful town of Abergele which boosts sandy beaches, selection of café’s where you can enjoy idyllic experiences and also has excellent public transport and motorway links.
An exciting opportunity to be part of our care team at Ty Cariad Nursing home has become available for a Night role RGN/RMN to join our existing team. In liaison with the Home Manager you will lead a team of support staff, in the delivery of high standard nursing care.

ABOUT YOU
You’ll need a ‘live’ NMC pin and good knowledge of up to date clinical practices to join us as a RGN/RMN nurse. You’ll also have experience of providing personalised, comprehensive careplans to reflect residents care and health needs to a high standard, have an understanding for residents affected by dementia whilst promoting self-esteem, confidence and dignity, what’s also important is that you will have great communication skills.
Examples of employment tasks:
- Ensure that comprehensive, individualised care plans are in place and are regularly reviewed and evaluated in accordance with the NMC guidelines and company policy;
- Assist and to deal with emergencies and pre-planned treatment of patients;
- Maintain ongoing assessment and review of all patients;
- Administer drugs and medicines;
- Apply surgical dressings and give other forms of treatment;
- Plan duty rotas and organises and direct the work and training;
- Liaises with management and senior nurses to ensure effective communication for the benefit of the patients and their families;
