Field Service and Calibration Engineer (South)
Location: South of UK (covering London/Home Counties)
Up to £40,000 basic (dependent on experience)
A leading manufacturer and supplier of materials testing machinery is looking for a Field Service & Calibration Engineer to join their busy team operating across parts of the South in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Field Service & Calibration Engineer, your main responsibility is to provide routine servicing, calibrations, repairs and customer support functions.
This role involves:
- To carry out routine service, calibration and repairs for customers.
- To plan and perform routine work as required, reporting to the Technical Manager and Deputy Quality Manager (UK).
- To provide necessary user training of company products to customers and distributors.
- To ensure compliance with Company and customers Health and Safety procedures.
- To maintain compliance with company and customers quality systems in all necessary areas.
Experience/Skills required:
- Servicing and calibration experience.
- Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings.
- Fault finding capability.
- Happy to travel and occasional stay away (including overseas)
- Experience working on similar equipment is desirable.
