Job Overview: The Revenue Operations function is vital to supporting the company’s ambition of increased revenue generation through effective activities. The team is seeking to expand and enhance their impact on the business to drive even greater efficiency and growth.
As our Revenue Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for managing and optimizing our revenue processes, tools and data. The ideal candidate should have experience in helping drive revenue growth, improving sales productivity and developing efficient revenue operations processes.
Reporting directly to our Head of Revenue Operations you’ll be responsible for:
- Enhancing operational efficiency by optimizing processes from lead generation through to cash collection
- Accountable for ensuring the smooth execution of critical finance related activities, including invoicing and accounts receivable management
- Keep vital tools and systems, such as the CRM, finance and quoting tools, functioning properly through ongoing maintenance and support
- Perform regular checks and audits to maintain data accuracy and integrity
- Identifying opportunities to improve sales efficiency and productivity, and implement improvements
- Facilitating cross-functional collaboration to strengthen process enforcement and foster harmonization across functions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in revenue operations or sales operations
- Experience managing and optimizing sales processes, tools, and data
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and finance teams
Operational Efficiency
- Create and maintain Sales Department policies, procedures, training manuals, and sales-related resource material
- Ensure Sales Managers adhere to defined sales processes and policies
- Set up reporting and/or processes that identify issues or challenges in the pipeline
- Recognize, develop, and implement process improvements within the Sales organization, as well as hand-off processes between teams
- Ensure the post-sale process from Sales, Support, Operations and Finance runs smoothly and own the resolution of issues in the process
Accounts Receivable
- Generate invoices and credit notes. Recording and tracking of customer payments
- Reconciling customer accounts to ensure accurate payment and billing information
- Updating and maintaining customer billing and payment information in accounting software
- In coordination with sales, communicate with customers to resolve payment discrepancies or overdue balances
Sales Stack
- Manage, configure, and maintain excellent data quality in the CRM to ensure it enables the Sales team to enhance their sales process and easily report on key KPIs for the executive team
- Analyze the existing sales technology stack (CRM, Quotation Tool, Lead Prospecting Tool, Customer Portal) to identify redundances/efficiencies to ensure seamless processes and handoff throughout the entire pipeline process
- Continuous reinforcement for higher adoption and usage of Sales technology stack
