Enghouse Interactive is currently looking for a Revenue Supervisor to join our finance team. This position reports to the Director of Finance and supports the continued growth of the company. This is a HYBRID position will be based in Reading, UK.

About the role and what you will be doing:
The Revenue Supervisor is a key finance management role and will be responsible for order to invoice cycle of both domestic and foreign sales contracts for multiple entities involving resellers as well as end users, containing a combination of products, professional services, third party products, and maintenance elements. The role will interact internally with Sales, Business Operations, and Billing specialists, finance/accounting and management.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for and a contributor to the monthly and quarterly closing process as it relates to sales invoicing, revenue recognition, and deferred revenue.
- Maintain a close working relationship with operational managers to assist with the conversion of order to invoice.
- Review sales order documentation in accordance with company policies including industry specific accounting rules related to software revenue recognition.
- Review monthly recurring revenue schedules, which includes invoicing.
- Assist senior management with quarterly reporting
- Assist in integration of new acquisitions
- Recommend various business process improvements that will streamline the revenue closing process.
- Work closely with operations / sales in the standardization of sales lead / order tracking through information feed into finance ERP.
- Work closely with the Company’s external independent auditors.
- Effectively manage, lead and mentor the revenue team.
- Perform technical research on revenue recognition and/or other complex accounting issues, and provide accounting consultation advice to business partners under IFRS rules
- Solid understanding of new revenue recognition standards (IFRS 15 implementation experience would be an asset).
- Responsible for timely and accurate completion of all month, quarter, and year-end revenue related close times
- Review revenue results on a monthly basis working with FP&A
- Provides regular project status updates to the project managers and operations / sales teams.
- Prepare and complete other projects and tasks that may be required from time-to-time
This role may evolve as the company grows and individuals need to be accustom to changes within job responsibilities.
What you offer:
- Partly Qualified Accountant or Qualified by Experience.
- 3-6 years’ work experience in multi-currency, multi-entity environment. Supervisor experience preferable.
- Solid understanding of accounting and finance principles
- Ability to work with management and influence decision making
- Enjoys a fast paced environment where contributions make an immediate difference
- SaaS/Multiple-element arrangement/percentage of completion revenue recognition experience
- Ability to work with non-finance team members to communicate financial results and achieve desired financial outcomes.
- Intermediate excel skills and/or experience working with ERP systems to produce meaningful reporting.
- Experience with Great Plains / Salesforce an asset
- Attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness
- Strong business partnering and interpersonal skills
- Highly effective project management, prioritization, multi-tasking, and time management skills to meet deadlines.
