Position:
In this busy role you will retain, grow and create a portfolio of profitable customers, providing effective telephony-based Account Management.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Retention of Mid-Market customers through Account Management activities during customer life cycle
- Expanding the portfolio by means of finding and selling New Business opportunities to existing and new customers (inc. cross-selling, upselling)
- Regular and accurate maintenance of all allocated records via the current CRM system
- Identify and pursue business development opportunities, maximising value and term to drive profitable sales revenue
- Achieve monthly SOV and Customer Retentions targets, through building and maintaining a robust pipeline
- Understand, build and be responsible for customer relationships through quality telephony-based account management; dealing with issues, complaints and queries in an efficient and timely manner through regular telephony-based communication
- Management of customer data, to prioritise the customers in line with business expectation
- To provide accurate forecast on a daily/weekly basis of potential sales
- Identify customer needs and create greater customer relationships and business growth
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 GCSE’s including Maths and English
- Strong track record of working in a sales environment
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Creative and able to implement initiatives to improve sales technique
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications
- Expensive of using a CRM system
- Commercial approach when making decisions
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good numerical skills
- Able to work as a team and individually
- A good understanding of the UK energy markets (trends in pricing / market movement etc)
- General knowledge of individual proposition offerings from energy suppliers, therefore demonstrating strong commercial acumen.

- Salary £22.8k - £26.2k and uncapped commission
