About Us
The Royal Parks (TRP) is a charity created in March 2017. We manage over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London. These are: Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, The Green Park, St James’s Park, The Regent's Park and Primrose Hill, Greenwich Park, Richmond Park and Bushy Park.
We also manage other important public spaces including Brompton Cemetery and Victoria Tower Gardens. Our eight Royal Parks and other public spaces are among the most visited attractions in the UK with 77 million visits every year.
We are now looking for a Retail Supervisor to join our team in our first flagship shop, the Boat House, on a temporary contract (June – August), full-time or part-time basis, working up to 36 hours per week.

The Role
As a Retail Supervisor, you will help lead our retail operations, starting with the Boat House and progressing to other outlets.
Supporting the Retail Manager, you will ensure sales targets are met, lead the team to provide excellent customer service and ensure exemplary visual merchandising and housekeeping standards.
You will also process deliveries, fulfil eCommerce orders, support the management of team rotas and create opportunities for upselling, encouraging donations.
Additionally, you will:
Be jointly responsible for the recruitment, induction, training and retention of staff- Set daily targets and monitor performance
- Manage controllable costs, expenditure and petty cash
- Oversee POS reconciliations
Please note, this role will involve lifting and manoeuvring stock.
About You
To be considered as a Retail Supervisor, you will need:
Retail management experience- Experience delivering an exceptional customer journey
- The ability to interpret data and manage stock processes
- Strong visual merchandising skills
- IT proficiency
- At a minimum, GCSEs or equivalent at level 4 / Grade C or above in Maths and English
