We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Retail Store Assistant to join our team at our store in Cardiff. As a Retail Store Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and supporting sales and promotional activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Providing product information and helping customers with their purchases
- Maintaining the appearance of the store and ensuring it is clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Assisting with stock replenishment and stock-taking activities
- Operating the cash register and handling transactions accurately
- Supporting promotional activities and contributing to achieving sales targets
- Working collaboratively with the team to achieve store objectives
- Undertaking any other duties as required by the store manager
Requirements:
- Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred but not essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service
- Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and public holidays as required
- Ability to work well in a team and also independently
