Job description
FACT (Fighting All Cancers Together) are looking to appoint enthusiastic, efficient and self-motivated Retail Staff to join our team.
Working primarily at our Sunderland shop, though could be at any of our retail locations.
You should be hard working, conscientious and flexible. We are looking for people who take pride in their work and work to the highest standards with attention to detail.
The successful applicant will have retail experience, be commercially aware, have a good working knowledge of MS Office, eBay and Facebook, be well organised and hands on. Staff will be required to effectively manage the day to day running of the shop and volunteers.
Skills Required
The successful candidate must have a good standard of English and mathematics; excellent organisational skills; compassion; the ability to manage and engage well with people; good IT skills including MS Word, Outlook, Excel; be able to work in a self-directed manner, and as part of a team, including the ability to develop and build good working relationships.
Retail experience is essential with experience of working in a charity shop setting desirable. Experience of social media and online selling eg. Facebook and eBay would be an advantage.
Hours availability Monday to Saturday, generally between 9am and 5pm.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week
Salary: £6.83-£10.42 per hour
