As a Retail Sales Associate – or Brand Ambassador, as you’ll be known at Vashi – you’ll invite customers to discover the jewellery making process for themselves, from design to 3-D modelling, casting, setting and engraving. You’ll help customers tell their own stories through the jewellery they create, using your expertise and product knowledge to drive sales and establish strong relationships to ensure the long-term success of the business. A true brand ambassador, you’ll act as a voice of Vashi, sharing your passion for our unique in-store experience, our jewellery and our culture. You’ll work positively and collaboratively with your team and customers, and bring our company’s vision to life.
As a Retail Sales Associate at Vashi, here's what you might do in a typical week:
- Provide exceptional standards of customer experience to every customer, through all communication channels.
- Partner with every customer to help them create a personal piece of jewellery with us. Guide customers confidently through the Vashi way of selling, while inspiring them to make something truly unique through your passion for the brand, our jewellery and the materials we use.
- Attend training workshops or webinars covering areas including sales techniques, customer experience and product knowledge.
- Regularly review your calendar and appointments. Respond to customer queries and issues in a professional, effective and timely manner.
- Work towards your store's key performance indicators and understand your individual role in supporting the results and overall store targets.
- Ensure all orders are processed accurately on the Vashi POS system and all relevant communication is shared with the Production and Customer Service teams.
- Handle customer concerns in a professional manner, with a view to achieving a positive resolution or outcome – seeking management support if necessary.
Who you are:
- You have experience within a luxury retail or customer service environment with a proven track record of achieving sales targets. If you also have experience working with jewellery this is preferable, but either way, you must have a keen desire to join us on our mission to disrupt the entire industry.
- You have excellent written and spoken English language skills. We'd be especially interested to hear from you if you are multilingual, but this is not essential.
- You're precise and accurate, with good attention to detail.
- You have a high level of emotional intelligence, with the ability to collaborate as part of a team. You can plan and manage your time effectively and have an entrepreneurial spirit that puts the customer at the centre of your decisions.
- You're respectful to all, incorporating an element of empathy in your selling skills, actively listening to the needs of the customer and showing a natural interest in people.
