We are looking for a highly motivated, proactive and client-centric Sales Associate with a passion for creating memorable experiences for our clients. The ideal candidate will have luxury retail or hospitality sales experience, outstanding customer service skills, and the ability to convey enthusiasm and passion for our brands!
Our Sales Associate will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, see themselves as more than a Sales Associate but as a true ‘Brand Ambassador’- someone who is seeking to grow their career in the luxury drinks industry, has a strategic sales mindset, willingness to learn, and a passion for forming meaningful relationships with a global clientele.
- Provide an exceptional customer service experience by greeting, listening, and assisting customers in exceeding their expectations.
- Seek opportunities to improve your own skills and knowledge through feedback, research, self-development, competitor analysis and tasting sessions.
- Have a thorough understanding of beverages, including characteristics of wines, spirits, champagnes, beers, non-alcoholic drinks, glassware, barware, terminology, food pairing and garnishes.
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of all product categories as well as the brand history and heritage to elevate the story telling behind them.
- Give advice to customers on general trends in the industry by showcasing your passion for drinks by creating tasting sessions, master classes, cocktail sessions or private tasting sessions.
- Commercially astute and driven by cross and up-selling for all product categories
- Ensure qualitative monitoring and updating of customer information, accordingly to the CRM tools, to retain actual customers and detect new high potential ones
- Develop and maintain a client database ensuring repeat visits, customer loyalty and aftercare service.
- Ensure the achievement of individual and store goals by enhancing and developing the business as well as the customer experience.
- Support the team in all operations for loss prevention, replenishment, and stock management.
- Contribute to manage the visual display of the products in accordance with visual standards
- Process sales through the POS while following all proper cash handling and company procedures
- Maintain a high level of personal grooming and represent the brand image through customer service, attitude, and behaviour.
- Ensuring an inclusive environment for staff and customers
Qualifications and Experience required:
- Demonstrable retail, customer service, hospitality, or sales experience.
- Commercially astute and motivated by being a team player with a common goal.
- Experience in face-to-face customer contact in fast paced and results driven environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Passionate about the drinks sector and providing engaging experiences to bring our brands to life.
- Consistently exhibits professional behavior and punctuality.
- A flexible approach to work during peak times including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High levels of emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and the ability to adapt to change.
- Proficient utilization of business systems, latest technology, and innovations.
- Ability to story tell and demonstrate by bringing ideas alive to elevate the customer experience.
- Conscientious with a desire to deliver to the best of your ability. From performance to standards to people and customer experience
