Job Description

Working at Hudson St.Ives is fun and at times fast paced. You will be working in a beautiful, bright and airy shop in the heart of the pretty town of St.Ives.

We are looking for a reliable, creative, cheerful and hard working individual who has a genuine passion for our lovely art work and gifts.

You will be providing our customers with a friendly welcome and a point in the right direction, providing consistently high levels of customer service to make sure everyone leaves with a smile on their face and a treat in their bag!

You will be working both alone and with our other friendly staff. It is a team effort and we need a strong candidate who can help support our current team and jump in whenever needed.

Hudson St Ives is a family business and has been trading for over 35 years, so you’ll get some great experience in the day to day running of a popular and busy high street gift shop.

You'll do everything from checking off deliveries and pricing to dealing with enquiries or ensuring that the shelves are fully stocked and well presented.

Main responsibilities include:

-Serving Customers

-Operating the till

-Cashing up

-Pricing and re-stocking

-Creative displaying

-Keeping everything clean and tidy

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

• Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)

• Driving Licence (preferred)
