Bathshack have a fantastic new opportunity for a Clearance Sales Lead to run our new outlet in Cookstown. A bit more about the role
As the Clearance Outlet Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales, managing stock, and overseeing day-to-day operations. Your primary objective will be to optimise profitability by effectively managing stock levels, implementing promotional strategies, and ensuring an efficient and engaging outlet style shopping experience for our customers.
- Manage all aspects of the clearance outlet, including sales, stock, and a small team.
- Implement effective strategies to attract customers and drive sales, such as organising promotional events, creating eye-catching displays, and utilising various marketing channels.
- Maintain a clean and organised outlet environment to enhance the shopping experience for customers.
- Oversee stock management, including receiving, organising, pricing, and replenishing merchandise.
- Monitor sales performance, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Train, motivate, and supervise a small team of outlet staff, ensuring they deliver exceptional customer service and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the wider Bathshack team to ensure consistent branding, pricing, and marketing strategies are on trend.
- Continuously stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to remain competitive and maximise sales opportunities.
A bit about you
- Previous experience in retail management, ideally within a clearance or outlet environment.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proven track record of driving sales and achieving targets.
- Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make confident informed decisions.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating positive shopping experiences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer focused
- Experience with Facebook Marketplace, Instagram, online classifieds essential - TikTok would be a plus!
- Experience with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)/ General ICT experience
- Ability to work Saturdays
- A good understanding of manual handling including bending, stretching, stooping, stepping, reaching and lifting. Having a good range of mobility is important to ensure you can work safely within health and safety regulations without placing undue strain on your body
- Full driving licence required (6 points max)
