We are currently recruiting a General Retail Assistant to work with our team at RAF Leeming, DL7 9NJ

What you'll be doing
- Required to be flexible according to business requirements. The daily focus may vary, however it is expected that activities will typically include the following:
- Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers
- Restocking items and stock rotation
- Operating the till and cash handling
- General cleaning of a busy retail department
- Client focus – providing excellent customer service at all times
- General cleaning of front and back of house
- Perform daily paperwork and keep diligent records as required
- Follow food hygiene and safety procedures at all times
- Set-up & closedown of retail areas
- Undertake relevant training as required of all aspects of the role, including working towards your Basic Food Hygiene and above as well as Health and Safety Level 2 qualifications.
Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential as full on the job training will be provided
- Basic numeracy skills
- Must be able to work in all areas of the business if required (including the Premier Shop, Subway and Barrel & Bean pub.
- A DBS check is required
