Cover Retail Assistant

Our Community Hubs are warm welcoming spaces where people can get the information, help, support or advice they need for their situation; come in to volunteer their time or pick up a bargain in the retail section. Each of our six Community Hubs is working towards delivering a range of functions including Information, Help and Support, Advice and Casework, Community Activities and Events alongside Fundraising.

We are currently recruiting a Cover Retail Assistant to work as part of our team, providing cover across our 6 hubs in Shipley, Wrose, Idle, Queensbury, Allerton and Keighley.

The key elements of the role are providing an excellent service to customers, sorting and managing donations and supporting volunteers. There will also be Hub opening and closing responsibilities, together with operating the till and banking.

Retail experience is preferred, along with a positive attitude and excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.

Please note that this role is subject to a DBS check, as we may work with volunteers under the age of 18.

Salary £11,826 per annum (£20,837 FTE)

21 hours per week

5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays pro rata
