Q Gardens Farm Shop
A busy farm shop in south Oxfordshire selling lots of local products to our customers - including our home produced beef & lamb, and fruit grown in our own orchards. Also well-known locally for our homemade ice cream.
Retail superstars required!
Looking for new members of staff to help us in our busy farm shop in south Oxfordshire.
We are a small team so the successful candidates will need to be able to turn their hands to a variety of activities including maintaining & re-stocking displays, using the till, pricing & checking of newly delivered goods, cleaning & tidying, and preparing our own home-made products for sale.
Candidates must be literate and numerate, have legible handwriting and be quick to pick up new skills. Ideally they should already have a basic food hygiene qualification – training will be required if a qualification is not already held. They should be a good team player, already with some work experience preferably within a retail environment. They should have a great sense of humour with a positive attitude and plenty of energy for a role that involves standing up almost all day. Most critically they must be empathetic to our customers’ needs and always offer excellent customer service.
Looking for:
1) 20-30 hours per week to include at least one weekend day
2) weekend staff for one day per week, with possible extra hours in shool/college/uni holidays too.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 8 - 30 per week
Salary: £5,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
