We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Retail Assistant to join our expanding team on a permanent part-time basis. As a key member of our store, your primary responsibility will be engaging with customers, providing excellent customer service, and driving sales. We value individuals who are hardworking, quick on their feet and possess a genuine passion for streetwear. Trustworthiness is essential as you will be responsible for restocking sold items and ensuring the smooth operations of the store.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and engage with customers to provide an outstanding shopping experience.
- Utilise your excellent selling skills to promote Ameri Camden products and drive sales.
- Assist customers in finding the perfect streetwear pieces and offer styling suggestions.
- Maintain a well-organised and visually appealing store display.
- Process transactions accurately using our point-of-sale system.
- Restock merchandise promptly and efficiently once items are sold.
- Monitor inventory levels and promptly communicate restocking needs to the management.
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve store goals and targets.
- Stay up-to-date with fashion trends and knowledge of Ameri Camden products.
- Take initiative to ensure the store's smooth operations and cleanliness.
- Handle cash and store operations with utmost trustworthiness.
Requirements:
- Previous retail experience is a must, (streetwear or fashion-related settings is a bonus).
- Flexibility to work on a permanent part-time basis with a willingness to adapt to a flexible weekly schedule.
- A genuine interest in streetwear fashion and enthusiasm to represent the Ameri Camden brand.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with customers and team members.
- Confident and skilled in selling, with the ability to close deals effectively.
- Hardworking and quick on your feet to restock items promptly.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative to enhance the customer experience.
- Strong work ethic and dedication to contributing to the growth of Ameri Camden.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of American and UK streetwear fashion trends is desirable.
- Experience with visual merchandising and store display management.

- Effective communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to get along well with people.

Working Conditions:
- This position is based in our Camden High Street Store, UK.
- Working hours will be on a permanent part-time basis, with flexibility in scheduling.
- Availability to work 1-3 days per week.
- Working hours from 10 AM - 7PM.
- Availability to work weekends.
