Job description
This person works with the company’s accounts to support the brands’ on-floor presence through retail merchandising execution. Responsibilities include visual merchandising, training, space negotiation, relationship building, communication, and presentation skills. This position will travel to department stores in San Francisco, California to different department stores.
Responsibilities:
- Visit assigned accounts to maximize brand presence. Must be flexible and able to pivot if coverage needs to be altered.
- Educate Sales Associates and Managers and continuously train on current assortment, new product launches, promotions, and procedures.
- Maintain visual merchandising, ensuring product placement and communicate detailed account information to Sales Associates and Managers.
- Ensure that product is fully stocked on the sales floor.
- Support associates when working with customers (women and men) by asking questions and aiding in diagnosing ‘fit’ to recommend style options. This may include pictorial documentation, demonstrating size and fit characteristics.
- Trying on merchandise for product feedback and competitor analysis will be contingent upon compliance with stores procedures.
- Build relationships and maintain strong partnerships with Sales Associates and Managers to achieve sales goals and continue the positive relationship our brand has with the retailer.
- Required to participate in all brand trainings.
- Communicate daily to direct manager, National Manager, and respective Account Executives regarding store visits or account updates.
Qualifications:
- Intimate Apparel experience is preferred
- A successful track record in apparel retail or merchandising for Department Stores preferred.
- Independent, self-motivated and organized
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Flexible and adaptable
- Strong negotiation skills
- Reliable transportation
- Must be at least 18 years or older
- Strong computer skills utilizing the internet, email and Microsoft Office Suite are helpful.
