As Retail Operations Manager, you’ll lead, coach and inspire your Store Managers to deliver operational excellence within your regional area ensuring that talent is identified and developed for effective workforce planning.
Through inspirational leadership you will motivate and challenge your teams to deliver ongoing improvements in KPIs, drive excellent sales and budget performance and ensure that exceptional standards of customer service and legal compliance are delivered.
As an advocate of the Society, you'll articulate our vision, values and strategic goals, and actively engage in local communities.
You’ll also be expected to work strategically and collaboratively with other teams and departments in the Society to provide insight and influence to drive the long-term retail strategy and business plans for the Society and play a part in our long-term success.

How will I know if I am right for this role?
To be a real contender for this role, you’ll have previous experience of working in a fast-paced retail environment, preferably in the Food sector and having previous multi-site management experience is strongly desired.
You’ll bring a wealth of experience of leading, coaching, motivating and empowering teams, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
As someone with excellent planning, organisation, judgment and analytical skills you’ll have the ability to manage conflicting priorities and work to tight deadlines. You’ll be assertive and confident in a high-pressure environment with a high level of personal and professional credibility.
