Job description
We are looking for Retail Merchandisers for a major nationwide company, based Durham.
Our client has some fantastic opportunities to work both locally and travel to a wide range of projects in the UK so candidates must be willing to travel when required.
Pay Rate - Entry Level £10.42 per hour
Driver Roles - £10.82 per hour + 25p per mile
Wages increase up to £14 per hour with experience.
Accommodation, if needed, is paid for and mileage rates paid for drivers.
**Weekly Pay**
Shifts are generally 11-12 hours in length and are a mix of days, nights and weekends (Average 50 hours per week). Peak working days tend to be Sun-Fri but candidates need to be flexible to work all days (shifts provided in advance).
You will need to be positive and hardworking, with the ability to communicate well with your fellow team members, the client and their customers.
You will need to be smartly dressed, punctual and adaptable and your timekeeping should be impeccable

- Previous retail experience would be advantageous but is not essential
- Driving licence and access to your own vehicle is an advantage
Main duties
- Complete tasks as directed by our Clients, to correct standard within the timescale
- Merchandise stock to specification, in line with schedules, plans and time frames
- Complete any stock counting or removal operations as per brief
- Complete re-working of fixtures in store as per brief and line plan
- Work in a safe and tidy manner
- Ensure shop floor is clear and tidy
- Communicate with Store/Duty Manager on any operational issues on site
- Any other duties requested by Store/Duty Manager
