Job description
Starter Packs Glasgow is a community-focused, award winning, sustainable charity, based in Govan, working to alleviate poverty across the city. By providing packs of essential household goods to those moving into a new tenancy, often after homelessness, we can make houses more homely, and help people to sustain their tenancy. We do this through the help and support of our local community, much-needed donations and the many staff and volunteers we’re lucky to work with.
Our shop teams are often ‘the face of Starter Packs Glasgow’. These teams are not only responsible for serving our loyal customers in the retail side of the organisation, but also processing our donations from our supporters.
Starter Packs Glasgow combines it’s aims of alleviating poverty across the city, supporting people into their new tenancies with dignity, empathy and kindness by supporting re-use, recycling and helping develop the circular economy.
