Job description
Purpose of Role
Responsible for serving food and beverages inside and outside the restaurant efficiently and in a courteous manner.
This role is eligible for the following:

Main Responsibilities
- Deliver professional, courteous, and efficient service to our Guests.
- Greet Guests and build rapport by asking questions and initiating conversation.
- Offer suggestions by using suggestive selling techniques. (Daily specials, cocktails, appetizers, entrees, desserts, and after dinner beverages)
- Follow the established table service procedures.
- Pre-bus and maintain tables.
- Complete assigned side work and duties.
- Present Guests their check and settle payment.
- Practice teamwork by helping co-workers.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by your Manager.
- Declare tips
- Check identification of customers to verify they are of legal drinking age.
- Following all relevant health department rules and regulations.
- Observing the principles of safe food handling and service.
- Communicating customer orders to kitchen staff as well as customer feedback.
- Ensuring that customer orders are assembled correctly in the kitchen.
- Serving orders to customers
- Removing empty plates, used silverware, empty/dirty/unused glassware, and soiled napkins from tables.
- Determining when customers have completed the meal.
- Attending scheduled team or shift meetings.
- Taking food and drink orders, Up-selling additional food, and beverage products to customers. i.e. Specials.
- Entering each item ordered into restaurant register system correctly.
- Presenting the bill and taking payment.
