Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa Sligo is now looking for an enthusiastic and talented Assistant Bar Manager to join our dynamic team and elevate the bar program. The hotel offers 132 luxurious light and airy guest rooms and suites, AA Rosette accredited Classiebawn Restaurant, stylish Waves Bar and relaxing Memory Harbour Lounge.
The hotel’s conference and events team offer 10 flexible meeting and event suites with ballroom capacity for up to 740 delegates, making these the largest conference facilities in the region.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Bar Manager in overseeing all aspects of the bar operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Develop and implement creative and seasonal cocktail menus, showcasing a variety of flavors and techniques.
- Train, mentor, and supervise the team members to maintain high-quality service and beverage preparation standards.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain par levels to ensure consistent availability of ingredients and beverages.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as responsible alcohol service practices.
- Collaborate with the Bar Manager and other departments to enhance the overall guest experience.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and personal growth.
- Assist in organising and participating in special events, promotions, and tasting sessions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a senior bartending or bar management role, demonstrating a strong understanding of mixology and beverage preparation.
- Exceptional knowledge of spirits, wines, craft beers, and various cocktail techniques
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
- A customer-oriented approach with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
- Understanding of inventory management, cost control, and budgeting.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills.
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS or equivalent) is a plus.
