Job description
Our Downtown Garden Centre Restaurant has for many years offered our customers quality food and beverages and a well-earned rest from their shopping.
Playing a vital part in the day-to-day operation of our Restaurant, we are seeking multiple friendly, enthusiastic, and hardworking Restaurant Assistants to join the team on a part-time basis.
Main duties include preparing the meals and refreshments we have on offer whilst maintaining excellent cleanliness and hygiene standards. You may also occasionally assist with stock replenishment and till work when required.
Ideally, you will already have worked in a similar catering environment and / or have barista training, however this is not essential. In this back-of-house role you should be an effective communicator, prioritise tasks efficiently and be able to demonstrate good customer service skills.
Our 20 hours per week vacancy will be worked on four days out of seven usually during store opening times, where flexibility is key, and you should be available to work occasional varying shift patterns and differing days if required. Hours for our Saturday or Sunday role are 5 per week, usually worked between the hours of 11am and 4pm.
