Since its opening in July 2017, we have been focused on creating exquisite dining experiences and serving award-wining food to many London’s A-List and fashionable tastemakers.

We have created a menu that tastes of the soul of Greece with seasonally changing sharing mezze dishes, chargrilled meats and whole fish dishes carved at the table right in front of our guests’ eyes offering a memorable experience and the best of what Mediterranean cuisine has to offer.

About you:

As Restaurant Manager you will be responsible for delivering the highest levels of service and an exceptional guest experience within the restaurant. You will be the face of our restaurant and working with your colleagues on providing excellent services to our guests ensuring the smooth running of the restaurant. You will be an excellent and confident communicator with exceptional people skills and problem-solving abilities. The successful candidate will be passionate, enthusiastic, welcoming, and genuine. Informed by the authenticity of our brand and the passion we feel for our guests representing the warmth of the Greek islands and its hospitality.

You will be joining an equally passionate and talented team dedicated to curating original guest experiences in an authentic, attentive, and courteous manner. Responsibilities:

As Restaurant Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Maintain the highest standards of service, adhere to the company philosophy and understand the essence of hospitality.
  • Ensure safety and cleanliness in the restaurant’s front house and guests and surrounding areas, ensuring all cleaning duties and maintenance schedules are complied with.
  • Ensure correct operations of cash registers & daily reporting, with accuracy and honesty.
  • Organize and schedule staff to make sure all shifts deliver a high standard of service.
  • Increase sales opportunities – training customer service team in up-selling techniques.
  • Assist and participate delivering product knowledge and sales training to staff to maximize sales and average spend.
  • Create a harmonious restaurant team by promoting teamwork.
  • Encourage staff to follow company policies and procedures, keep a groomed appearance and ensure disciplinary action is taken for breaches of company regulations.
  • Liaise with the kitchen staff to ensure a smooth running and compliance with procedures and safety regulations, and maintain hygienic food handling practices and cleanliness
  • Takes ownership and personal accountability for specific business areas as direct by GM
  • Support service team by taking orders, serve food and beverages as required
  • Ensure food and beverages are served to a consistent quality standard
  • Ensure that the restaurant remains in an impeccable state
  • Ensure all tasks for setting up, serving and closing are all done correctly
  • Communicate with the AGM and GM regarding any problems or changes needed with the service or operation
  • Handle complaints according to guidelines, leaving guests satisfied and impressed
  • Responds to opportunities with a sense of urgency
  • Assist with hiring and training competent employees to maintains adequate staffing levels (ensuring highly skilled staff at all times)
  • Promotes employee engagement and loyalty by prioritizing employee satisfaction

Requirements:

We are seeking for an individual who has worked in a similar role. Other skills that will need to be demonstrated and qualifications include:

  • Experience in a similar role and within a busy environment.
  • A passion for hospitality.
  • Excited to grow and learn about Greek wines & Greek cuisine.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Impeccable appearance of personal grooming.
