Supporting the wider HR team, our recruitment and talent officer will be the key person responsible for overseeing the recruitment journey for Bristan Group. You will be passionate about the end-to-end candidate journey and be resolute in your approach to ensuring Bristan is positioned favourably to external candidates.
Whilst recruitment will be your key priority in the short term, the role will also support the design and execution of a broader talent agenda, including succession planning and learning and development solutions. You will work part of a small team who are embarking on building the necessary frameworks to ensure we have the talent we need to deliver our strategic objectives and are looking for someone who is excited to bring this to life with us!
Your day-to-day role will consist of:
- Managing a proactive approach to recruitment by advertising, sourcing, filtering and screening candidates
- Managing recruitment flow with the applicant tracking system
- Using social media to help develop external talent pipelines
- Work with hiring managers to understand their people needs and recruitment cycle
- Provide commercially focused data to support in understanding the effectiveness of recruitment campaigns
- Identifying and championing new and innovate approaches to diversity and inclusion and talent attraction
- Develop relationships with key agencies across the business and manage the terms of preferred suppliers
- Organising and overseeing individual and team training programs
- Coaching managers to provide quality leadership to their people
- Understand the future workforce needs of the business and support to build internal talent pipelines
- Support to develop the employer brand for Bristan and work with the broader HR team to understand, ‘why bristan?’
As a key point of contact for recruitment and people development within the organisation, we are looking for someone who is highly personable and has experience of working with senior management in a people related role. You will be able to see the bigger picture easily and love to challenge the status quo in bringing stronger people solutions to Bristan.
We are also looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in managing external recruitment campaigns with multiple advertisement strategies
- Experienced overseeing and supporting the full recruitment and selection cycle
- Highly literate and able to communicate effectively in writing
- Able to spin lots of plates whilst providing a quality service to internal stakeholders
- Passionate about the employee and candidate experience, bringing an attitude of continuous improvement and constantly questioning, ‘how does it get better than this?’
- Highly organised and able to plan, prioritise and deliver on a range of tasks
- Exposure to delivery of talent initiatives is preferable
- Experienced within the manufacturing industry is preferable, but not essential
