What is the job role?The People and Culture Team are looking for an apprentice who will build their knowledge and skill set within an inhouse recruitment and resourcing function of the council.
We are offering a Resourcing and Compliance Apprenticeship for approximately 18 months (up to a maximum of 21 months to include the End Point Assessment (EPA).
Your role will support us in the delivery of a successful recruitment and resourcing service. Duties will include a range of recruitment related administrative tasks from advertising to hiring successful candidates, using various communication routes to engage with both internal and external customers and using various Microsoft packages and inhouse HR / IT systems.
You will gain a basic understanding of HR Employment and Contract legislation within a wider Human Resource team.
In addition, you will study towards the HR Support Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard. For further information for this standard please use the link below where you will be able to view the common areas of work involved across the modules.

- Proactive in their approach with good attention to detail
- Able to understand what excellent customer service looks like
- Digitally literate and able to use a variety of programs for word processing
- Able to understand the importance of data protection and confidentiality

Pre Interview and assessment date: Monday 24th April (via Microsoft Teams)
- (The pre-interview is a short session to give you further details of the apprenticeship role and to help you understand what to expect and how to prepare for the final interview. You will also complete a short diagnostic assessment to check the level of Maths and English that you are currently working at and identify any support you may require).
Interview date: Wednesday 3rd May (Face to Face at One Friargate)
