Job description
SSE has big ambitions to be a leading energy company in a low carbon world. Following our commitment to invest £12.5 billion in low carbon projects over the next 5 years, we have significant growth plans and are well on our way to achieving our ambition to build a world that's more sustainable and inclusive for you, your family, the community you live in and for generations to come.
Join us on our journey to net zero and help us power change.
About the Role
Base Location: Perth
Salary: £25,703 - £29,879 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: Permanent | up to Full Time | Flexible First options available
With ambitions as big as ours, SSE is growing quickly - over 4,000 people joined us last year. At the heart of this is our high performing recruitment function, including a central admin team. As a Resourcing Administrator, you'll be responsible for a variety of tasks to help ensure a smooth process and a high quality of service for our candidates, hiring managers and recruitment consultants.
This will involve:
- Effectively managing key elements of our processes, including posting adverts, and supporting candidates through pre-screening and pre-employment checks.
- Co-ordinating interviews with candidates and hiring managers.
- Responding to the varied queries we receive to our email inboxes.
- Supporting the resourcing consultants with recruitment activities and projects.
What do I need?
This can be a fast-paced role, so you'll need to be able to juggle priorities, flex your style, and organise tasks to ensure great service is always delivered. Our resourcing team is busy, so we're looking for someone who is a team player and has strong collaboration skills.
Administration experience, particularly in a recruitment or HR team would be helpful, but really we're looking for outstanding communication and customer service skills. We have several different processes and systems, so you should be able to pick these up and have an eye for detail and making improvements too.
This is a great role, with plenty of support and development opportunities. It would suit someone who really enjoys admin and co-ordination tasks or individuals looking to kickstart a career in recruitment.
