Resource Allocation Manager
This is an exciting fast paced role within the Operations Planning team at Heathrow. The Resource Allocation Manager oversees Heathrow Allocation, ensuring we have the right resource, at the right time, with the right skills, to deliver our commercial programme. You'll deliver exceptional efficiency and drive punctuality through robust operational allocation plans, whilst leading a high performing allocation function in a safety, regulatory and time critical environment.
About the role
- Accountable for the delivery of a best in class live operational allocation function
- Integral part of the Ops Planning team, interfacing with stakeholders across all levels of Heathrow to deliver a safe and punctual operation
- Focus on improving operational performance with a consideration to safety, industrial and financial constraints
- Responsible for the management of a team of Resource Allocation Executives, providing clear direction and vision, empowering decisions relating to resource allocation
- Identifying development needs and providing training/coaching and operational support for c.30 colleagues
- Undertake project management and drive continuous improvement within resource allocation and Operations Planning.
- Shift based covering 24/7, 365 days per year
Skills / Experience
- Experience of leading large teams in an operational environment
- Experience of resource planning and overseeing operational delivery
- Experience of working in a fast paced and fluid environment
- Experience in dealing with external stakeholders and managing these relationships through positive communication
- Ability to demonstrate a robust style of leadership to drive the best performance and improve operational resilience
Salary: £41,500
