Salary: £23,194 - £25,878 pro rata (career grade)

(sleep in rate £81.00, enhanced rate for sunday and night shift)

Hours: 25 hours per week

Contractual Status: Permanent

We are looking for caring, creative and enthusiastic individuals to join our dedicated team to work in a short break setting at Gleneagles Resource Centre.

Applications are invited who have appropriate experience and have a professional approach to carry out all aspects of personal and direct care in supporting children with various disabilities.

You will be introducing children to new activities and supporting them to be as independent as possible, some of the children we work with have difficulty forming relationships, following routines and accepting boundaries and can display challenging behaviour.

Candidates will also need to be able to work unsocial hours - most work is during the evening, weekends, early mornings, and school holidays including Bank Holidays (The home is open 365 days a year).

Applicants must:

Once in post must be willing to work towards NVQ/Diploma Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification / have the qualification or equivalent.
