Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a residential support worker who can provide a positive living experience for the resident young people by caring for their psychical, emotional and social needs.

About the role
You will work as part of a team that encourage and stimulate emotional and social growth by devising and organising family activities, encouraging the Parent and Child to socialise and to join organisations outside the Home.
As part of this role:
- You will make specific contributions to the, formation and the implementation of care/placement for young people

Work in partnership with families and carers of children, Social Workers and other outside agencies, as required
Participate in the admission process, case conferences and reviews, producing reports on individual children, young people’s development, progress.

About you
You will be:
- Committed to working with Families and their Children within a residential setting behaviour can be complex and challenging.
- Be Creative and able to use your own initiative whilst working in a challenging environment.
- Enthusiastic and highly adaptable to changing circumstances.
- Capacity to complete parenting assessments and deliver evidence to court
- Good written and communication skills
- Adaptable to varied types of parenting
