Job description
Location - Rugeley
Salary - Circa £28,802 including sleep-in allowance (£70.47 per sleep-in with an average of 11 per month), plus time and a third for overtime and a £1000 joining bonus paid to anyone coming on board to be paid after one year's service.
The main duties of this role include:
- To work as a member of the team to provide young people with a variety of activities, support, care and guidance using a positive parenting model
- To follow guidance from the Team Leader and other senior colleagues to ensure the smooth day to day running of the home providing structure and appropriate boundaries for the young people in our care
- To have a flexible approach to shift patterns which may sometimes require changes to rota at short notice
- To ensure that all risks are safely managed in line with the company policies and procedures
- To undertake an in-depth quality and bespoke training package
- To act as an advocate for the young person whilst using a positive parenting model
- To attend staff meetings and be proactive in developing and improving the service model
