Residential Clinical Psychologist- Permanent – Surrey
Maxxima’s permanent team are recruiting for a Senior Clinical Psychologist on a permanent basis to work for the UK's largest hospital group.
Location: Edinburgh
Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time hours 37.5 (shift based)

On a typical day you will:
Key responsibilities of the role within the Intensive Treatment Programme workstream will include working as part of an interdisciplinary team, providing specialist psychological assessment, formulation and treatments. Psychological interventions span the range of evidenced-based therapies for PTSD and Complex-PTSD, including TF-CBT, NET, CPT, CFT for trauma and PE (EMDR is also now being included in our treatment options for specific presentations). There will also be responsibilities relating to the clinical supervision of Trainee Clinical/Counselling Psychologists, Assistant Psychologists, and other professionals engaged in delivering psychologically informed interventions, where required.

What will you need to succeed in this role?
- HCPC registered psychologist who has completed Post Graduate doctoral level training in counselling or clinical psychology, including specifically models of two or more distinct psychological therapies to include CBT AND/OR 2) BABCP accredited CBT Therapist
- Experience of psychological assessment and treatment of clients across a range of care settings.
- Experience of working with a wide variety of adult client groups presenting with problems that reflect the full range of mental health disorders (e.g., trauma, anxiety disorders, depression, substance misuse) of varying clinical severity and complexity.
- Significant experience of delivering CBT
