Job description
To maintain the highest quality of support to 10 service users living at the home in Bolsover, Chesterfield, with the provision of stimulating environment in which the emotional, social, physical and psychological needs of the individual are met. To take a lead role and assist in supporting all aspects of the service users assessed needs in areas of daily living. This will include:
* Administering medications
* Prompting and encouraging service users daily with activities of daily living
* Teaching and encouraging independent life skills e.g. attending to own personal hygiene, preparing own meals, attending appointments and taking part in community activities.
* Working in line with Care Quality Commission regulations and standards
* Safeguarding all individuals
* Communicating and completing records to a high standard
* Upholding Health and Safety and Confidentiality
To be able to work as a team and on own initiative. Previous experience and training is desired. There are day shifts 8.40am to 5pm and and sleep-in night shifts 4.40pm to 9am within the role and flexibility is essential. Salary increase is discussed following first 3 months Probationary Period and dependant upon performance and training completed.
Full-time hours: 30 hours upwards
